Pastoral farming needs innovation to reduce environmental footprint and maintain productivity, on 1 July 2021, the NZ Government imposed a cap on the amount of synthetic nitrogen that farmers may apply per hectare per year on any grazed land.

Pastoral Robotics has developed a proven solution to reduce nitrate leaching and emissions for intensive agriculture. An impliment known as Spikey®.

Spikey® use allows more effective use of nitrogen to boost pasture growth, with significant improvements in dairy farm operating profit. This solution is also timely given current world-wide urea shortage and price increases.

Key technology has patent protection in New Zealand and a number of off-shore markets.

The market roll-out will be based on a licensed / franchise distribution strategy to allow rapid scaling on a capital-efficient basis.

The company is targeting a NZ$5m capital raise (with potential oversubscriptions) on a pre-money value of NZ$15m. Capital raised will be applied to building out the team and resources needed for market roll-out.
